If a tooth is broken or damaged by decay our dentist will try to fix it with a filling, crown, or other treatment. Although, sometimes there is too much damage for our dentist to repair the tooth. In this case, Dr. Langellier will recommend .

What to Expect
First, we'll give you a local anesthetic so you don't feel any pain during the procedure. Once you're numb and comfortable, we'll extract the tooth.
Dr. Langellier will then place a few stitches over the extraction site. Next, he'll have you gently bite down on gauze to apply even pressure.
As you heal, your body will form a blood clot over the extraction site. It's important that you don't disturb this clot as it will act as a temporary band-aid as your body recovers. Be sure to follow the aftercare instructions from our dentist.
